Smile Up for a challenge ?

Hi Guys
Am having a problem with a Rev 11B0D Card - it is crucial that i do everything to gain access to it as it is paired with a Samsung 2110C for which i cannot obtain the BK unless i get it from the card - it is baffling me as it will read ok in Nagra edit and give an ATR but it is prevented from giving the contents by giving an error at the backdoor read section

I Have made up dummy numbers for the relevant info but here are the messages i get in Nagraedit

Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: XX XX XX XX XX
XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
ROM Revision: 011
EEPROM Revision: RevB0D
ProviderID: 54
CamID: 11 11 11 11
Using BD3 Key: 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11
Attempting to login to BD3
Reading ROM11 failed
Closing of COM1 was successful

I have tried every thing - following all the tutorials with romstudio and xcns even tried mrom also tried backdoor retrieval scripts
in Nagra Edit etc - but the glitcher / sidewinder not recognising it / saying cannot detect etc etc ......is the BIG stumbling block here

not going to try any more - the glitcher ( Powersync ) doesn't want to know - it doesn't even recognise that the card is in the unlooper
i have proven this as i have a spare rom11 card and they recognise that no problems and start to execute the scripts on it

as i really need the BK off this card i am wondering is anyone up for trying to crack it open for me - if you can i will let you keep the card for yourself as all i need is the box key (it could well be a false BK) (- if you can manage to glean / (glitch ) it off the card then the card is yours - if you would email me the BK anyone confident of getting this card open and willing to help out and have a go at this if so Please PM me

whats puzzling is the glitchers dont recognise that the card is inserted ever - cant figure it out - used the right flashes everything - like I say beyond the stage of trying any more xncs / romstudio etc
"

MODS I hope i havent stepped on toes by asking for this request - but if this request is ok - I want the BEST to attempt this so if you're confident enough please step forward - thanks

You say you used mrom.

This will wipe your card clean of everything.
What script did you use to unloop it as bd3 fail cards have yet to be glitched.

All you had to do was use mikedatas bod script in Winex and all wouldve been ok.

But you can still try that.

See if that helps, but mrom!!!

Do you have Winex and Mikedatas script??

If you tried sidewinder I'm baffled that didnt work.

Or you just gave up when sidewinder closes as soon as you execute the program.

This is normal as the glitcher and program take a few times to recognise.

What happens when you run the script?

Do you get ------++----rst22----++++-----rst21 etc

What happened everytime you ran it?

....in sidewinder ... got " no response message ...make sure your loader is flashed message " then sidewinder immediately closes

ie if it works properly you get a countdown of numbers and a "perfect... ready to glitch " message does not get as far as that stuff

in winex - it says " no response from card ....script now exiting ....."

BUT card is read ok in Nagra giving ATR but then stops with ...

Attempting to login to BD3
Reading ROM11 failed
Closing of COM1 was successful

have a guy offered to take it for me and have a go ...just waiting on him to get back with address ...
am i right itn saying that if MROM messes up a BK then that implies also that MROM does enough so that the the card will read successfully in Nagra as well ? ....... so if that is the case then I may have got away with using MROM ( MROM did always come up with errors and did not give me a smiley face as expected at the end - to indicate card successfuly restored)

It never did this - it always gave errors - so i think the card may still be intact - since still failing to read in Nagra?

Even if the mrom didnt finish the exe it still can mess the card up as it was passing commands to the card.

Make sure you set compatibility to win98 mode in properties.

Did you make sure the com ports were set correctly in the settings?

Have you checked your VCC?

What about boxgetpc2?

Try that it may give you your bk, You never know.
