Underworld 142 is now available with more tweaks for the Wi Fi cam:

Gbox and newcamd improved

I don't know what happened to Underworld 141, either I missed it or they've skipped one !!!!!!!!!!!

Uploaded in the Satellite folder, Diablo Cam sub folder for Diablo Wi Fi owners.

I have had to revert back to 136 as none of the upgrades have worked with conax. I have just checked and 136 is still working. What is it with this Wi Fi why don't they have a special file just for them?

yes it seems silly to bring out just one file as we don't need the wifi stuff so just would make sense to make a smaller file for just the diablo light cam

Hi Michka - last time I downloaded Underworld I had to do it from a website , I cant find the Satellite section anywhere on this site. I've found satellite help section but cant find no sub folders, its not the easiest site to navigate for a newbie is this one - can you direct me please.

Hi Michka, when I download Underworld 142 and go into the program it says

Unknown format or damaged file - what have I done wrong, downloaded it off Box.net and dll-ocx and get same message noticed it does say dup file is that anything to do with it. Posted this message on Diablo Cam upgrade thread as well by mistake !!

Can you please provide a little more detail.
You've downloaded underworl142.rar from the Diablo folder.
Did you use Winrar to uncompress the file or another utility?
Did you extract underworld142.dup to the computer desktop?
I'm still using underworld139.dup has I don't have the Wi Fi cam, and upgrades after that seem to be mainly tweaks for the Wi Fi version.

Do you have a Cas 3 or a Cas 2?
How far do you get before the error message?

Try following these instructions and tell me what happens.

1 Download Winrar, if you haven't already got it.
2 Open underworld142.rar with winrar, click on underworld14.2dup, and click the extract icon, select your desktop.
3 Insert your cam into your Cas programmer and start up the Cas Stusio software. Which version are you running?
4 Click on the Cam Module tab and the two Diablo Cam icons.
5 Click on the little icon, with 3 dots, at the end of the File Name address bar.
6 Navigate to your Desktop, select underworld142.dup and click open. Do you see a green light on the Start Update icon?
7 Click Start Update.

At what point do you get the error message?

Hi Michka,

Downloaded file to computer, when go to open it comes up with the message straight away unknown file or damaged, did try opening with winrar same message.
Using a Cas 3+ and downloaded Underworld 139 last week, and uploaded half a dozen Diablo cams on 139 with no problems. Took a bit of time to suss out but eventually got there.

Downloaded 142 to Daughters Laptop and been able to upload a couple from hers, but seems strange why it does'nt on my computer.

Only changed mine to 142 because when I put it in my DarkBox, the message " keys expired" came up - Do I have to download keys to Diablo cam or just Underworld 142

Sometime times out when downloading U/World to Cam but go back in and no problems

The keys expired message appears when the Cam is trying to Auto Update, following a key change, or if the channels are no longer available, like some of the Premiere channels, and ones on Hotbird, which have upgraded their encryption.
All available channels are opening with underworld 139.
For some temporary channels, like DCW, you need to load an updated keys bin file, but as these usually only last a few hours, at most, they are not really worth it.

i think new keys are needed as channels not opening at this time
