got anexternal hard drive to free up some space on l top put all i tunes music on external then deleted music on pc trouble is it deletes on external to how do i store i tunes on ex drive and keep it seperate from pc
can anyone help me please no fancy words please im not the best on computer thanks |

Itunes probably knows both locations of the file so when you tell it you want to delete the track, it's deleting them both. Not being a user of Itunes, I'm not sure how to stop it doing that, but if you delete the files you don't want directly from your harddrive instead, it should solve your problem.
