Thumbs up Tomcat's Myth Adventures

Hi everyone

I'm looking to build an all singing all dancing Mythbuntu rig. I'm after a complete media center with the option of playing retro games (the rig form a mame unit in a proper cab once its all sorted). Digging round the house ive come up with -

  1. Quad core processer and board (Intel)
  2. Nvida graphics card (think its a 6600 128mb)
  3. A pile of Hard drives mostly Sata but a few Pata.
  4. Tv card - Hauppauge not sure on the number
  5. 2 Sat cards make unknown
  6. Dvd drives
  7. 4x 1gb memory sticks
  8. Leads for everything
Other then sourcing the OS i haven't done much. The rig is working ok with Ubuntu but will do a clean install with Mythbuntu. This rig at first will have both afront and back end on it but hoping to be able to have anyone in the house have access to it.
As i understand it there is no way to get sky tv to work on it. However is it possible to feed a tv tuner to recive the output of a sky box? Im really onnly after the freesat channels so could i get thes anyway?
The setup will also housemy music and dvd collection so would need to encode all my media.
