sorry didnt give that a thought have you tried it with other scart leads and is the scart lead close to other power leads maybe getting blead over.I had similar prob with clone dreambox c and after trying loads of scarts without any improvement rerouted the scart and power lead and it stopped the buzzzzzzzzzzz

1) try connecting it to ur other scart input on ur tv if u have more than one
2) Try diconnecting all other connections to TV inc antenna - might be conflicting!
3) Im assuming ur using the AUX channels to view?!

The signal may need attenuating an overly high signal can cause buzzing remove the feed from the box to test if it is the signal thats causing it or not because 90% does seem a fair bit high. Also is there an isolator (white box on the wall) at this point or not as not having 1 can also cause buzzing.

ok i double checked this when i go through the channels there around 90 but lower down to 81 when u leave it for about 5 seconds does 81% seem like a better quality, theres no white box on the wall that i can see how would i go about getting one, and the buzzing stops when i pull the feed out so it looks like its something to do with the signal
thanks very much mark

where does the feed come from is it a direct split from outside or is it connected to a splitter after the white box downstair or in main room ?
