CONSOLE UNLOCKER Err - 'Your console is unlocked, but you have to stop d'l' manually

right guys i have seen a few posts with people getting this error with the new console unlocker for ambit 250-255's

the message at end still leaves your light flashing rapidly on modem- unlike when u get no error and it goes smoothly

it says-- 'your console is unlocked , but you may have to stop the
downstream scan manually' then usually get an error saying device needs restarting.....and an error code 8012.

dont worry---its easier theres now no need to softjtag at all to rewrite bootloader as the option 'p' is back - it has worked and all that is required is to to test is turn off modem , connect ether cable and max cable.

then start hyper terminal with the settings-com1-115200-8--1-none-1 as usual------ but be sure to press 'p' quick.........if u get the 'p' option witch u should with the above errors turn off modem now ..

then follow haynes guide now to get set up ready for flashing - but dont let modem fully reboot without pressing 'p' or youll have to consolee unlock again.

hi guys hope ive helped you with this app as much as poss as its a saviour thanks goes to those who remain silent....

right ive done a few more of these modems with the console app. and have noticed a few things witch have made life easyer to know if soft jtag will work to restore bootloader..
the main thing is after apllying the console hack youll notice 2 solid lights on the modem..
this is when the modem is ready to be softjtagged and bootloader reinstalled ..
if however you get three lights on and console say modem unlocked i have to say softjtag has never been succesfull and will either fail at the start or somewhere in the middle.bricking the modem.
so look for 2 solid lights only befor bootloader reinstall.
i have noticed that cbtc tsops tend to take a few atempts to unlock befor bootloader can be installed . so again check the lights and all will be easyer..

softjtag 3.10 wont even let u click button to write bootloader if
modems not in port open state[unlocked]....i have also hd some thathave given me errors after saying its done ect---i have startecd and posted in other threads about this so im going to leave this here sorry guys

no its not m8, i built my own max232 as i always build my own stuff be it jtag max, spi prog etc , it aint woring way at all, unless u mean there was,
