Hi maltablue,
welcome to the forum.
I have moved your thread to the Clark Tech section as it doesn't belong in the Satellite News section.
Which channels, from which satellite, have you deleted?

Thanks for your reply. To many to mention lol. mainly off "premier, thor, astra and hotbird" ( made a right cock up lol). As i said i tried the "auto scan and mauaual scan", but none have the missing channels have returnd. Am a bit dubious about trying delete all channels or factory reset. Thanks. Phil..

I assume you're trying to scan in the channels that are currently open, using various equipment.
Usually when the channels wont scan in it's either because they are already there or the memory is full.
I assume you're using a motorized dish, as you mention so many satellites.
these are links to the packages currently available, on general emulation, just remove the underscore _:

_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/premiere.html
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/polsat.html

Move your dish to Astra 1, 19.2E, and scan in one of the Premiere transponders, like 11720 H 27500, if this fails to pick anything up try altering it slightly, 11723 H 27500.

Mickha. Thanks for you reply, i am able to scan all channels. The problem is, that channels i previous deleated(off various satelittes), are not re-appearing on the programe list of the corresponding satellite. I know i sound a bit thick, but all this is new to me. I thought it would be like a P.C., where you had a restore point. But this seems not to the case, lol. Any further suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Check your instruction manual you will probably just have to move them to your favourites, or other folders.

Mickha, instuction manual ?, lt leaves more questions than answers. I think we are at cross purposes, i'll try again, when i installed system, set it up,loaded channels, let say for instance i had progs., 1-10 on Premiere. Well after a while i mistakenly deleted prog., No5. On auto scanning Premier, it came up with prog., No5 still missing. hope this is a bit clearer, thanks in anticipation. Phil.

When you say program No. 5 is missing, do you mean that your receiver channel number is missing or that the channel is missing? e.g.
1 Premiere 1
2 Premiere 2
3 premiere 3
4 Premiere 4
5
6 Premiere 6

Is the Premiere 5 now scanned in but at a different number, or can it no longer be scanned in?
When you scan channels in they do not automatically line up, in that way, they scan in as they are on the transponder and if there is only one channel missing it scans in at the bottom of the list, you have to then manually move the channels to how you want them to be arranged, either using your remote control and the receivers menu, or a software utility, by connecting your receiver to your PC, downloading the channel list, editing it on your PC and returning it.

If you are saying that you can not see any channel listing for channel 5 then check your manual in case you have not fully deleted the channel but have used another feature like parental lock or hidden the channel.

Mickha. No that was an example, the actual thing that is missing, is the actual prog., on more than one satellite. To try and explain better, where before i had 100 progs., I now have 91. The 9 that are missing have not come back. This is on more than 1 satellite, even after auto scan. Thanks Phil...
Mickha, it is not the satellite, missing but the programmes.
