I had a card that i could not get in to but now i sorted that problem but in doing so i installed ghost not thinking now every time i try to read in nagra it says back door retreival blocked it doing my head in its a rom 10,eny help appreciated.
ps i installed ghost with xncs1.8. i can get in to card coz got the backdoor of xncs but even if i write diffrent image to card, wen read back still says blocked.i dont want to risc putting in box incase becomes a no atr.rizlaman

what revision is the card? it should say in xncs/nagra.

rom 10...lol just dump it in xncs twice ....in setting tick all apart from ghost must be in eeprom, bk will be thgere mate

Will BoxGet2PC work on ROM10s? I have only ever used it on ROM11s.

Every time i try to open mron it says the following,component mscom32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registerd:a file is missing or invalid.Does eny 1 know wat this means iv never been able to use it downloaded all diffrent mroms of diffrent sights always get same message has eny else exsperenced this?cheers rizlaman.

search the files on google and put it into your system32 folder.

Ran card through mrom worked fine now every time i try to read with nagra edit 4.1 i get the following,Opening of COM4 was successful
ATR String: FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 30
31 30 20 52 65 76 42 30 34 4D 00
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM4 was successful
I can still read the card in xncs well i can dump it but wont let me write.I had to go to my dads to use his pc to use mrom as i dont have a true com port im using usb to serial,but the card read fine in nagra on his pc tryed before i left.The thing i dont understand is my usb to serial works fine apart from this card,never had eny problems with usb to serial.Eny one got eny idears on this one,cheers for eny input,rizlaman.

i get that sometimes mate try pulling the power lead and wipe chip then have another go
