hello and let me say what a great forum this is. I currently have a technomate 5200 super usb which is good but not good enough. I want a new receiver that will take a gamma card, digitalalb card, an art card and a sky digital card. Is there any such receiver? I know its a big ask but this is the setup im after. I know ill need a cas 3 programmer to transfer files onto the gamma card. I know the other cards have different encryption systems but is there a receiver that supports all? Any help will be appreciated.

Just a quick piece of info. I was looking on the showtime arabia website and the sports package(every epl game untill 2010 and most other sporting event) costs £14 a month. We are getting ripped off in the UK!!

take a look at the dreambox for one will do most

Pretty sure the TM6800/6900 will do all those things, it might need an Irdeto CAM, I'm not sure. Also the Sky card needs sticking into a Sky box every 6 weeks or so, to keep it alive.

looks like an absolute bargain, does anyone know if this is any better than the digitalb card? or cheaper? and what satellite does this need to be on?

whats a irdeto cam? is this the software spain uses?

The gamma card is for the Greek Nova on Hotbird, which is encrypted in Iredeto 2:-

Nova on Hot Bird 7A/8 at 13.0°E - LyngSat

As I said , I'm not sure if the TM's will accept an Irdeto card, but they might, if not then yes, an Iredeto CAM would be needed.

No, the major Spanish provider Digital+ uses Nagravision 3, subscription only.

I am after a reciever to pick up the free channels on astra, but also want to use it to pick up sky with my sky card and subscription what would be the best reciever ? would the TECHNOMATE TM 3200 do the job or would I req a cam for the card ?
