I currently use Comcast Cable.

I have had a decent experience with the company, however there is an hour our two of outages every week, which is acceptable I suppose.

I am currently getting a $15 a mont discount on their High Speed Internet, and also receive a discount for having both their cable and high speed internet, so I cannot complain.

I used to use dialup for a long while, but started using cable once it started becoming more affordable.

Default What is your Internet connection?

Well, what connection do you use to connect to the Net.

I'm using broadband (1mbps/512kbps) for now, and honestly I never did shut down my computer. The only time I offline is when it's blackout. I surf the Net everyday! You can't do that with a dial-up connection I guess.

I use Comcast Cable, however I do not know the exact speeds that I am supposed to be getting at the moment.

I do not get the speeds that I am supposed to get however. I am trying to fix this by getting a new router and wireless network adapter though. Hoping that this will be beneficial and also increase my internet's uptime which has been a bit shaggy recently.

Using broadband connection here. Looks like the dynamic IP address does really matters. 1mbps download / 512kbps upload speed, not bad anyway.
