Hi All
i have tm5200D USB. universal LNB twin out put, and my dish is bout 80 CM (diameter). some chaneels such as Jame-Jam TV on 12437 H 27500 3/4. i can get very well. but others such as PEN on 11470 V MPEG-2 27500 5/6, appear on my channel list but it says no or bad signal when i try to watch them.( in the case of PEN the strength of the signal is 20%). i want to know why is that? do i need a bigger dish? do i need a better LNB? what is going? how can i get a better signal from these channels? Thank you all |

Ok in that case there shouldnt be any problem getting PEN - I get it on an 80cm dish no problem. Your dish probably needs a slight tweak (try rotating the lnb a fraction first)

i thought that the lb is fixed on the dish.
i can not move it at all in any direction. another question, what should be the distance between the lnb and the center of the dish coz i think the arm on my dish is a bit too short. |

The lnb should be at the focal point of the dish - its impossible to tell you the correct distance as each dish is different. Unless you have hacked bits off the dish arm for some bizarre reason it should be correct for your dish.
You can slacken the lnb clamp bolts off a little and rotate the lnb a tad. The cable connection should be at about "7 oclock" on the lnb in normal conditions. There is one cheap lnb (possibly from maplins) where the internal construction is incorrect and the polarities are reversed)
