It could be a fault on the box but if you set net id an update might fix it.

Ok Reddiesel.

Will give it a go this evening. Just wanted to make sure I was taking a sensible approach to this (Err5 problem) rather than just trying anything randomly.

Will let you know how I get on - may need more help...
P.S. Wasn't sure if I needed a RS232 serial cable or Null modem cable. Will hook up with RS232 serial; finger crossed!
