I got the silver Moto RAZR V3 last year some time and have really like that unit. It is super flat - I don't like wearing a phone on my belt, rather keep it in my pocket.
The screen is bright, clear and big, but most importantly the Bluetooth works perfectly with the Jabra handsfree unit. I was amazed as my previous phone only worked with half the handsfree units features. The camera on the RAZR is okay... for snapshots. The 4x zoom feature is digital meaning that the picture is made smaller with more zoom. Eg. 1x Zoom: 640 x 480 2x Zomm: 320 x 240 3x Zoom: 160 x 120 That was kind uf dissapointing, thus a useless feature. |

The RAZR isn't all that bad. Some say the text messaging is a bit out of whack. Some say that the lack of video taking capabilities makes the phone not worth it. But I think the phone is great. The sound quality is nearly flawless and you can get programs to make your own ringtones and upload them directly to your phone. It's quick and easy and there is tons of space. And you can get it for under $100 no problem now. There are countless accessories and its actually difficult to scratch if you take good care of it. The battery life is great and the display is huge and high quality. Internet functions well and you can download some pretty awesome games. The 28 buttons provide easy one touch access to almost any task. You can't go wrong with the RAZR.

They are releasing a phone called the PEBL. It is a rounded flip phone, maybe half the size of a razr. A little thicker, but same abilities. I think it has a button you can press to make it automatically open. This is just what I hear. Here's a link to the actual Motorola article... http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pro.../0,,87,00.html
Im pretty sure that this one will also start at $299. T-mobile has an exclusive offer available right now. |

A friend of mine who had T-Mobile as his SP, just phoned them up and they gave him instructions to unlock the phone (download the firmware or whatever was required), so that he could use it in Europe with a different SIM card.
