Ok, have a Diablo Light, loaded with underworld 142, working fine. My understanding is, in its default state it's a Conax cam, is that right? Presumably loading Underworld or Stealth means it can't take any cards in it, legit or otherwise? Apologies if this has been asked before, but I damned if I can find anything, you can't even get a manual for the Light, only the Wireless version.

The Diablo Cam is a multi cam and once loaded with the underworld/stealth software it can read many different cards, providing the CAID is present and the configuration settings are correct.
Which Diablo version do you have, the older 2.2 or the newer 2.3?
Which satellites can you receive and what cards are you thinking of using?

I have the 2.3 version, currently getting Canal+ on 1w and Premiere on 19e, amongst others. My primary interest is HD. So you're saying the Diablo can emulate any encryption, say Viaccess or Irdeto as well as Conax, depending on the config on the cam? Presumably fixed cams have their config "hard wired", so all you need do is plug the smart card in?

It depends on the subscription card, for example a DigitAlb card will work in the Diablo Cam but you wont get the HD channels, as DigitAlb have paired the HD channels card to official receivers only.
Which cards are you thinking of, as some subscription cards are more difficult than others.

I'm just curious about knowing more of what the Diablo can and can't do I guess. Compared to other fixed cams it's expensive, but it's more versatile, that I know, I'm just trying to figure out how versatile ;-) if that makes sense.

Could you use, say a legit Viaccess ir Irdeto card in the Diablo for instance?
There are cards, mainly pr0n, available in the UK, would I be able to use one of those,for instance, in the Diablo without hassle or not?

Some porn cards have been reported to work in the Diablo Cam, but again without specifics I can't check the information other owners have posted.
The Diablo 2.3 Cam, without a card, currently opens the following packages:
Premiere 19E, but only the old Nagra 2 encrypted channels, which will very shortly be upgrading to Nagra 3.
DigitAlb 16E, just awaiting a new file.
Polsat 13E
Digi TV 1W
Canal Digital 1W, just awaiting new file.
DigitAlb & Canal Digital went off this morning but a new file is expected soon.
