Who is your service provider? i.e Ex C&W

If you are Ex C&W your TFTP Server IP would be 62.252.192.23 & 62.252.192.22 (use either)

You need to find/sniff out a MAC addy from another UBR. You can find out your own UBR by visiting Virgin Media > Internet Tools - your ubr is shown near the bottom of the page.
Any MAC addy you use must be from a different ubr as you cannot have two identical mac's on the same ubr. This causes problems with the modem. You should really read the Haynes cable manual, this will give you a better idea of what is required and how to acheive it. Have a look at the online one here: thecablemodembible freehostia com.

Hope this helps.

Read all the stickys in this forum, its all covered there.

To get a working mac, goto a house that already has cable broadband and run a sniff there (again its all explained in the stickys). As mentioned above it must be a different UBR from the area you wish to use the modem, so go down the road 2miles and run a scan from someones computer and test all the macs from yours.
