Default pace 4001. Err2_ No longer used.

Hi,can anyone tell me what the above err message means and would it be hard to fix,if indeed it can be fixed.Theres one of these boxes on fleabay and just wondering if theres much work involved

wipe/clean the simm mate should be ok its just the connectors

mine went the same way err2 when i unpluged it to clean the sim i now get dreded 8888

I had one and wedged the simm with a piece of wood and it worked, it was something to do with a naff connection

Get an old tooth brush and dip it in Isopropyl alchohol (or Nail varnish remover), then clean contacts, wipe dry. Then re-solder the connections on underside of the box. Should work after you re-seat the simm.
Failing that, fell a tree, hew a suitable branch into shape, then insert into position in box!!! lmfao
