Default Please help: Starview box question

Hi Guys,

A friend has a Starview box for which she has to manually enter the keys when VM change the frequency.
Another colleague of the friend has the same Starview box in the same area and doesn't need to enter keys manually when update takes place for VM.

Why would that be? Are there auto change keys available for Starview so that one does not need to enter the keys manually? IF som anyone help with the link?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

when you have the latest firmware flashed to your box it will auto update.
the one that isn't auto updating has old firmware on it.
there are specific firmwares for each model of box
