Question Can't get my local BBC1

I've done a powerscan now a few times, but can't get the North East BBC1 - only a couple of London ones and the Scotland, Wales etc.

I know it is somewhere on the frequencies as I can get it on the V box no problems.

Tried 6.887 baud rate with the cable plugged in alone (without the splitter) but no success.

Any ideas???

Or do a search for a cdf file for your area, that worked for me, don’t forget to save your old one before you load a new one just in case.

CDF Files for the Eurovox

unfortunately there isn't a cdf file for Sunderland area in the cdf file thread but up to Hartlepool (teesside area the frequency is 451.000) you could try scanning this frequency.
BBC North East should be in one of the BBc 1 channels or TVCH?? etc, the only way to tell is to check when it is broadcasting ie when north east news is on.

Yeah, looked all through the cdf's without luck!

In the end I cleared everything and reset to factory defaults then did a powerscan. Strangely the baud suggested for ex N** did not work and I had to change it to 6.952 to get anything. My area was definately N** though!!

Anyway, got BBC back - now just a case of sorting the lot ......again!!!

Will do.

I'm still in the process of painstakingly oganising them to closely resemble the sky epg WITHOUT accidently hitting the 'Sort By Name' button - which I've done before!!
