Please Help Me!! How Do we Setup Hotbird and Astra From Beginning?? Help Help Please

Dear Friend

I have just reset my technomate 5200 d - everything has been wiped off from my Receiver, Now i have no lists of channel name and have no Installation Setup, Which are ;-
1)Satellite Setup
2)Motorized Setting
3)Auto Navigation
4)Blind Search
5)Advance Search
6)PID Search
7)Fast Scan


When i turn on my reciver this message will pop up;- NO CHANNEL

Please help me to sort this out, set by step, is there is any software needed for setting up please tell me, I really appriciate for your time and respond.

The easiest way to do it would be to go to the Technomate website and download a channel list. It would be loaded onto the receiver using USB flash memory, or a null-modem cable.

If there is not one on there, have a search on google, someone would have posted one somewhere or other.

The other method to do it is far too long winded to explain in detail,

but basically, add new satellite, add all the transponders, and then scan them in.

The procedure also varies depending on how exactly you are receiving from those two satellites, (2 fixed dishes/monoblock/motorised etc)

Thank you for your suggestion, i have download it and i did set it up, my Hotbird channels are OK Now, but i cannot get my Astra channels, is there any setting i need to put up in ((Satellite Setup))

In order to answer that question, the details of your dish are required. I.e How are you receiving the two satellites?

if your using a monoblock you have to turn on diseqc in your lnb settings to recieve both sats at the same time

and set Diseqc 1.0 to 1 of 4 for Hotbird and Diseqc 1.0 to 2 of 4 for Astra.

I Have recently reset my Technomate 5200d , and than download the lastest channel list from the Technomate webiste which was [Technomate-TM5300D_5200D_115_02-05-2008 03-May-08]

Now i have my Hotbird channels but i don't know how to get my ** Astra 19.2e ** back, i have no other Sats accept Hotird!

Can you please help me how to get my Astra 19.2e Back. thank you

Try reading the answers to your post. How are you recieving two sats ? Speaking from experience I have had a lot of help from this site, and have helped a few, and find nothing more annoying to people who don't read a post properly and expect others to be mind readers. Not trying to have a go, just making a point and hopefully helping you get some help.

On Technomate search for available sats,but by what you are saying i think you need a blind search first,at least you may see what sats you are getting from your present position.
