Hi all,

i have just got a pace 2000 box with a ntl rom 10 card with it, how do i get the box key from it? i am not sure if the card is locked or not, i have loaded it with usb unlimited which loaded the card but wanted to erase it to detect the cpu, i cant erase the card because i need the bk from it, so if the card is not locked how do i get the bk from it? i dont have a unlooper but i have heard if the card is locked you can still get the bk from the card without a unlooper with some software and a programmer, does any one know anything about this? as i wanted the box working for tonights boxing, cheers people

i think what your talking about is boxgetpc2.

put your infinity in pheonix mode and try this....

Dont keep posting files on the forum, i cant believe people keep doing this, read the rules.

just use nagra edit to read the card make sure you enable pheonix mode

in settings, untick autodetect cpu boxes, it may be in the advanced tab of options

So just to confirm on an earlier post, a locked rom10 card can be read to retrieve the bk?

I have a pace 2000 myself with a paired card and am not brave enough to attempt the volt meter method so want to retrieve the bk by reading the card.

I have an infinity usb programmer so if i put it in phoenix mode i should be able to read the card using say nagra or boxgetpc2 without the need for an unlooper?

It will more than likely be locked to rev A86 if it's been onstream. See what it is using Nagra with your cardreader 1st. If it's already open it will read in Nagra-if not it will need to be glitched with unlooper. There's also the possibility it will have had a disconnection hit in which case the card will have an IRD of 00000000 and a BK starting 6D56-if this is the case the volmeter is the only way.

Boxget wont work on a locked card, dont think it works on rom10 anyway,do what afcwomble said read in 4.1 to see what rev it is, you can get an unlooper cheap from fleet computer systems, if you have a 6Dead card voltmeter or lift atmel.
