How do you reset a Pace Di-300

I am in a pure ntl area(Dublin) and need to reset the pin on this box as its set and I dont know what it is. But unlike other boxes I have done I cannot see any jumper or battery to make the Di-300 reset, is it possible?

do u know the details from the card? bk ect, u could make a card and change it

Yeah have Bk etc, the box works fine its just the pin thats a pain. Not sure if its the same in the UK but here some of the sky movie channels ask for a pin during daylight hours.
I have been reading about libby/netid and have a funcard that I can program. But even if I managed to program a fun card I still have to get the box to reset to get it to read the card? Right/Wrong. IF I can get this box to reset and because I am in a pure area then it should reset the pin without a funcard?

seamouse means make a net id and pin changing card keeping the net id the same as it is and changing to whatever pin you need

mate ur behind the times, the update for pin boxes was over a year ago, it has always asked for a pin thats why you can watch 18 cert movie in the day time

to be honest i have never had to use a reset pin, as all my paces where made from a working macro all same pin

you can make a netid funcard and theres a option to add a pin at same time. Did work for me when i first started out

Even if I made up a new card with bk/ird/netid and new pin I still have to get this info(netid+new pin) from the card onto the box Yes/No?. As this is were all this sort of info is stored, on the box. IF so dont I have to get the box to go into reset mode to accept this info from the funcard I make up?. IF so this is where I am stuck as I am not sure how to get a Di-300 into reset mode

ooo u mean like pull the red jumper to reset box? not sure on a 300 mate. you could pull battey, ask red deisel he may know

Also can you confirm for me is the user pin stored on the box or card. As regards jumpers/battiers etc there is none on the Di-300 as far as I can see.

i jtaged my working pace with ocd and "pulled" of the macro, then i would get another box which i could not update after the pin boxes for movie came in ( due to tb removed) and re flashed it with my working marco...

Havent got round to doing any jtaging yet, what is OCD. ITs looking like I will have to stick netid or similar onto a funcard and run it. But can anyone confirm for me if I need to get the box into reset mode for it to reconise the funcard and run the programs on it. IF so thats where I might have a problem.
Also on the back of this box is scart/tele fone socket/psu socket/ cable input socket and a usb socket. Any ideas what the usb is for
