Questions about Technomate 5400 super

Been looking at the "TECHNOMATE TM-5400 CI+ SUPER USB PVR" and it seems like a steal at it's price.

I have some questions:

1) Can it record scrambled channels via CI slot with appropriate smart card?

2) If answer to above is yes, does it descramble as it records or do you have to descramble after recording?

3) Can you perform picture search/pause during playback of scrambled channels?

4) If you watch a scrambled recording, but switch off during playback, does it remember where you left off when you playback the recording again, so you don't have to fast forward to bit you were at, ie does it automatically book mark?

5) Does it have scart output?

6) Can you use EPG to select programs to record like with sky+?

7) Is the best hard drive to attach a Western Digital Passport?

8) Does the reciever format the external drive automatically?

9) Is there anything negative about it that I should know?

I'm sure if I researched the forum's I could find the answers to these questions, but would appreciate it if some kind person could answer the questions who has experience of this machine.
