Default 8gb usb stick

Just thought i would let everybody know.

Been using an 8gb usb memory stick on my starview 4 and its spot on, i have got up to 6hours of tv on to it and paused the tv with no problems.

if you want to keep a film or tv program put it on your main laptop or desktop computer, it is better than messing about with a hard drive, and i have 1.01 and 1.02 firmware on the usb stick, if you need to reboot the box, no power drain, no hard drive case at the side and no buzzing a clicking on the quiet films!!!!

They are £15.99 for maplin!!!

Hi Jules,

Can you view the recording on the PC or laptop or burn it to disc to view through a DVD player?

Thanks.

I managed to get 3 films of disney channel, and most haunted. There was still space left.
unplugged the usb stick from the box and in to me laptop, 2 minutes and its on me hard drive. they are even separate files, not one big file that you need to sort through, burnt 1 to dvd so far and had no problems.

its better than having a big hard drive that you need to unplug and messing about with wires.
