Well it seems that both yourself and the original poster are posting from the same IP address!!

Okay, looks like the original poster was using multiple aliases, and used them specifically to mislead other people into thinking there was an issue with Lincsat services.

Considering the massive amount of work Lincsat puts into helping these forums, for someone to join up, use multiple ID's to try and trash not simply his business reputation, but also his contribution to the boards, I think is pretty sad.

If there's a real complaint I'll be happy to support it - but false complaints I have no patience for.

In the meantime, a couple of things:

- Firstly, the original thread has been removed, because the complaint is maliciously misleading.

- Secondly, as the original poster has made such a big point on calling out these forums to be publicly accountable, I'll do the same likewise and have set up a voting poll in this thread to determine the fate of the opening poster and hist multiple usernames:

"Should those who fraudulently use the Techwatch forums be banned outright, or given a second chance?".

ADDED: Also moved to Feedback.

I believe this is a valid point for users thinking of buying and on a forum. It should not be locked from members' responses. If R Branson sponsored this site and was a chum, would we be encouraged to burn our Eurovoxes altogether?
So what if one of the mods closed the thread. The staff (mods) and owner (admin) on the forum have absolute right to close, edit or otherwise deal with inflammatory posts as we see fit.

This is NOT a public forum - its privately owned and as such the staff have the trust of the owner to try and deal with troublesome posts in a suitable way. You agree to this when you sign up.

If you want to see real censorship then I suggest you join the Alsat forum and try asking questions about the cards sold for 3pm football. Seee how fast they disappear. Then come back and see what a light moderation policy we have here.
