Default starview4 epg

I've been reading the threads about the starview4 and the fact you can't set to record off of the epg yet but is it actually possible the next update will allow this? I ask because iv'e used the other three starviews and the epg was never stable enough to go more than a couple of hours in front.

EPG is a bit more stable, but you will still probably only get a day or so. Sometimes needs a reboot to get EPG also. Its a lot better than previous models. Regards a timer well it wouldn't make much sense not having it in the next release.
