Technomate TM6800 super / Diablo CAM / Duolabs CAS 3+ interface and Underworld Softwa

Hi.... I'm new to the latest developments in Satellite technology. I used to have a Humax system, motor driven and relied on the ancient Millenium cards and software transfer. Now I have a technomate TM6800 super with USB Hard Drive. I invested in a Diablo Cam, a CAS 3+ interface and read some forum pages to tell me how to get started. I followed the fairly straitforward instructions and downloaded the Underworld 1.32 software. Success all went well and I was able to obtain quite a number of the FTA and Free channels plus a few Premier programs on the Hotbird and Astra range ( I have a fixed Dish 80cm). Since getting started about in the middle of OCT. the Underworld programs have upgraded to the latest 1.43 version. With each change, I get fewer channels! to the point now where the CAM might as well be removed from the slot altogether. Am I missing a trick here?

If anyone can suggest anything that I might try out, I would be most grateful. I'm not into Porn and am fairly happy with the Art programs that are free and superior to my current Full Sky Package, but I would like to perhaps have a few options from the Premier film channels, that the Underworld software were supposed to crack.

The premiere channels are goin m8, if they aint gone already. they have changed the encryption to Nagra 3 which aint accessible yet.

With your cam and underworld you can unlock conax channels on 1 W Thor also.

the latest underworld is 145 aswell m8.

Cannot see 145 on the usual page!! Also 1W is a little outof my range with the dish fixed as it is. I have dual LNB, but can only access perhas 9 to 23 degrees

Hi mate,
There is not much left on either Astra 1 @ 19.2E or Hotbird @ 13E. TRS is dead and since Murdock got his grubby hands on a substancial share of Premier, they have gone to N3 encryption plus NDS. The Spanish channels are also encrypted in N3. Things are a bit less than great at the moment. There is some stuff still going, Polast is open, but only on some EMUs and cams. The Diablo cam has the Conax channles open on Thor, but that is of no use to you. There is some chat that a hack for Conax might well be close, because of the loss of Premier. I am afraid that till there is a hack for N3 your set up will suffer.

The best thing would be for you to gt a bigger dish and motorise it, go for Thor and mayvbe get a Diablo cam.

Sorry that I could not be more optomstic, but that is the way things are just now, though I think that Diablo cam will open some stuff, but I have Dramboxes and do not need a cam.

You can open DigitAlb on 16E and Polsat 13E, but 1W is the best at the moment with 2 good packages Digi TV and Canal Digtal.
You can find underworld 145 in the satellite folder, Diablo sub folder on page 1.
