Default lotto satellite

What satellite is used for the lottery? the dishes seam at a very steep angle.

i did once wonder my self sometimes you see them on peoples walls with a steep angle and i know they are not pointing at the sats i can get
it looks like the motor on the ones i have seen do not only rotate they go up and down could be wrong thou

Are they prime focus by any chance? For a dish to be pointing at a very steep angle, I should have thought that the dish would have needed to be situated at or around the equator, the nearer the equator the higher the sats would be to in the sky.

Afraid I don't know what the idea of such a steep angle would be for a dish at these latitudes. It is a very interesting question and I am sure that AS or Nano would know what the score is.

i have also noticed the angle of some bookmakers dishes (not that i gamble) but since i have been messing around with sat i do notice
proberly something to look into in the future
but for now and proberly for a thew years i will be getting my head round linux
its doing my head in no one will tell you anything maybe its the same with thease dishes why we do not know

yes kerrywez your right this is a fine example of the ones i have seen
not including the bookies ones the bookies ones i have seen are more like the second pic but with no motor

I must take a pic of a set up in the village(lotto) it is a new Hughes dish
of the (sky type), however its big and where I would adjust the skew
they seem to offset the whole dish, my personal view is Ugly.

Don't think they are prime focus, they look like normal offset dishes.

the hughes vsat dishes for the lotto are skewed by the look of it , the whole dish i mean not the lnb

there are channel master/andrews dishes on bookmakers that i have seen, these are quality dishes, i have one myself
