Hi i have 2 cable modems, 1 flashed and 1 with subscription wid 2mb speed.
my flashed modem works fine and i get 20mb speeds but i am getting the same ip and host name as 2mb subscription modem, is this normal or is this right?

i used dhcp sniffer and used the mac from my legal box and did a sniff with brutal force. and used 1 of the macs from there

an ip address is assigned to your pc not your modem to change it you have to know how to use command prompt to renew ip config /and realease ip config
in order to change it
