Finally got my usb infinity! Help me update my MOSC!

After 1 month of waiting my usb infinity has finally been delivered. I'm trying to update my original Nthell card that died a few months back.

I've installed the software and inserted my card. I'm getting a pop up saying something about the CPU being used on multiple cards and therfore everything will have to be deleted.

Do I click yes?

I have my ird / box id or whatever. I was a bit worried as someone said I might need an unlooper as well but to read the card and to update the date or something if its not locked.

Can anyone help? I've read a lot about funcards but nothing to with MOSC's or Rom 10/11 or whatever I've got.

you need the programmer in pheonix mode first

and you will need nagra edit to read it

is it the pheonix or the unlimited?

unlimited. do i still need the nagra?

shall i click yes to the detection and erase the contents or can i just click one of the types in the drop down menu and thus keep whats on the card?

No dont click on auto detection!!

You need to click on tools-Virtual Com Port (VCP)

Put Infinity Software Into Phoenix Mode @ 3.68Mhz

Open up NagraEdit 4.1

Press the 5th icon (looks like a folder with a standby button)

You should see something like this:-
Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50
30 31 31 20 52 65 76 42 30 44 3C
ROM Revision: 011
EEPROM Revision: RevB0D
CAM Date: 0000

What you get may be different dependng on the card is.

unless your details are written onto your box or you can jtag/led simm it then you will need an unlooper chief, if however you have these details then yes you just need a new card.

yes I have the box id / ird or whatever thay are (was writen on the bottom of my box). Is this what you mean?

Is this all because of my CAM date request failed? (why this card is dead?)

With my ird etc which is easier / better to get, another MOSC or a funcard? As you can tell I'm a novice at all this!

What software are you using for the infinity? 2.70 is the only version i can get to work properly. Nagra needs to be in 98 mode or it wont work.
