Default eurvox signal help please

i have given my old 2006 box to a friend of mine , he had ntl tv installed around six years ago and and had it removed 1 year later so there is a ntl point there , i plugged it in to that with all the channels installed from a power scan at my house a few miles away , and it came up with no signal and evry now nd then searching for signal , i checked all the ntl cables and brown box outside and everything looks ok , any other ideas please

have you checked the catv pit in the street there should be a feed with yer door number on it in there and if its not conected then conect it

also try and put cable feed into tv and scaan for tv channels if none u is not conected in pit

also are you both ntl aswell or was one of you twest

I would suggest instead of messing about doing highly illegal things,that he take out a minimum subscription to his cable subscriber,its a small price to pay for what he will be getting ... after all this time its very possible that that line has now been ceased and used for someone else ...

I think we are all doing highly illegal things dont you but yes your correct in saying it is best to take out a minimum subscription to his cable subscriber, keeps the wolves away from the door, as they say
