Arghhhhh!!

I'm hoping one of you techie guys will be able to help me out here before the box gets chucked out of the window

So, this morning I turn on the box and have picture but no sound, decided to do a power scan to see if this sorted it out, it didnt. I now have no picture on any channel at all.

After reading threads on here for the last few hours I have restored factory settings, tried various other scans, turned on the 2nd emulator (language settings, type in 1968) although I don't know what this does but nothing is working??

Anyone got any other ideas of what I can try please? I'm on VM in the london area and there doesn't appear to have been a keyroll this morning.

what box are you using?.... also what version of software is on the box ?

Sorry meant to say its a Eurovox max v bought it in July 2007 - not sure how to check which software version is on there though I'm afraid.

Thanks for the reply. Never done that before tbh and don't have a scooby how to do it or a cable to do it with!!

I see there's a guide to follow on here and if you don't mind I'll pm you once I have a cable, do you reckon maplin will have whatever cable it is I need (one in the town not far from me) or am I gonna have to get one off ebay or something

Maplin sell the leads, this is the order No., you have to make sure you get the null modem lead not just an RS232. Make sure you have correct port on P.c before buying,

Use the maplin site to check the stock in store before you go.

yeah just done that Flowery - the store near me is a new one and isn't in the "nearest store guide" yet but worse I had a look at the item on there and I don't think my comp has that port on it

I guess if it doesn't I'm totally screwed.
