Hi im trying to do a 200 ive done by the letter i think in the guide but when i log into the router it says its a surfboard nothing like the picture in the guide and when the cable feed is on it just cant get stream lock

Eliminate the router, try a different MAC address.
Thats assuming you have entered the correct downstream freq. and TFTP IP for your area.

got me m8 i dont know the correcrt doenstream fre i thought the ambit tool did it for me i dont even know where to put it ?

All the freqs and TFTP IPs are found by going to the sticky posts.

Hi anndy1972

It seesm that you have already got a chipped modem( cos its says its a surfboard) and the firmware that is on the modem probably means that u cannot use the Ambit tool.You will have to enter the commands manually.
