Man u, are bringing new kids in to the premere league, all the time. They have some young stars being used lately, both in europe and home, and they are impressive

Well if you look at man utds youth policy, beckham, giggs, scholls, the neville brothers ,back then when some english teams were fielding 8 or 9 foreigners, that says it all. And they are still bringing young british players through today. Good on them.

Listen, if you really are serious about youth development that helps and strengthens the National squad (i.e. England !!) then the Man U's, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea's of this world really don' give a flying F***.

Do a Google search and look at what Villareal have achieved in 6-years with solely home grown players. Their youth academy is blossoming with 99% Spanish kids. They have simultaneously converted a relatively small debt ridden club into European high flyer. Even when Real and Barca try to swoop their Colts, the kids stay through loyalty. It is no coincidence that Spain won the last Euro Championship as their academies tend to concentrate on mainly Spanish players. Their future looks good and sound ....

Until we do the same in England we will always conquer club Europe with mainly foreign players and foreign money, but we will never succeed on the national stage !!! When will clubs start thinking bigger than just themselves and invest in grass root football. We need to limit the number of foreign players so promising English kids are not simply dumped into the Championship, as Reserves or given the odd cameo performance in the first team. Arsenal are prime example. I can recall a match recently where every one of their players was foreign and mostly French. They may as well have been playing in Paris !!!! and not North London !!!

MHIO !!!

You could make a team out of the youths Wenger has let go. Sidwell, Ali ali, Jarome and Upson to name but a few.
