Default Sagem d-2 box

Hi I have a Sagem dmac2 box which I attempted to flash as a result it now wont boot up and the display reads Kein system .
Now I cant get to the box menu and any attempts to reflash fail as my there is no communication with the box.
I do have a RS232 cable which i can use but do not know how to do this or what software/hardware I need to reflash the box.
Can some one tell me in simple detail how I can get the box up and running if possible thx.
