Talking First Time DBoxer! Help Needed....

Hi there,

Hope everyone is fine!

I have browsed this site for tips and have found it really useful. So thank you to all who contribute to the site...! Much appreciated...

However, I want to update the image on my dbox as I have an old Sportsters one (1.75 Ultra - Year 1995). It still works ok but have been losing some channels recently and the "Scanning" feature no longer works.

I have been reading up about "Flashing" a new image but I can't seem to find a place where I can download the software required (IFA etc).

Can any give me a quick run through and also let me know what software I need and where to get it from.

Many thanks for your help.

Aplogies...! I forgot to mention this..!

It is a Sagem. I am not sure how many chips there are..! I am guessing it is x1, as when I looked inside the box I could only see single chips on the motherboard and did not see two together..

Martin,

I am pretty much open to anything especially if it has worked for others. I have backed up my currently image (using the feature on the dbox).
