Default Anyone else got a SlingCatcher yet?

Having had a Slingbox for some time, and watching it on my pc at work.thought it was about time i got a Slingcatcher.
2 weeks ago when in america picked one up,to watch our tv,you can only watch so much of theres!
Had seen a few bad reports on it,but thought its worth a try
Within 5 mins of switching it on i had my sky+ on over there.
All i had to do was: 1. set tv output,2. selct "my slingcatcher",3.enter my email address and my slingbox password and there it was, even the remote was already set up for my sky+.Most of the time the picture was ok (better than watching it on my PC),but a few times it did look like youtube, but that could have been my upload speeds
It cost my about £206,but you can get them off Amazon for £179 with a discount code

Hi jasper
So from your watching so far would say that the slingcatcher actually improved the picture somehow, or werewas it simply more pleasing by the fact that you're slinging in a living room enironment instead of a computer desk?

I have my trusty old mac mini hooked up to my plasma set and I must say there is something about the familiarity of placing the picture on the tv compared to on my MacBook

Hi Christian
The picture quality is about the same,as a laptop. As you say its just better to watch on a tv screen;just like been at home, kids want one channel, wife wants another.i have to wait till they have gone to bed !!
