Default Slow V+ box? (remote)

My V+ box is very slow at changing channel, going through the tv guide etc....

is that how they are? or is it the remote. as i proper have to press the buttons down on it for the box to register what ive pressed

try different battery's , try different remote ect

is this a modded v+ box? if so has talkback been cut or are u using a 50db filter?

I get that with my sub box sometimes, I dont think its got anything to do with TB being cut.

I believe it may be the HDD using up the processor memory.

Do you have alot of programs recorded on your hdd?

let's say it's not 'standard'

v+ are always slow? why post about it lol they are the same as paces, the epg is always slow mine took 9 secs last night to change over,

that sounds like a signal problem i was gettin this problem with mine, i changes all the cables and connections and it was as fast as the sammy lol. there was no problems after that

when you boot the v+ you have to wait till the 'live tv' lights up and then its ready

i never turn it off at the mains, just leave it on standby.
thing is u can always hear the hard drive. even if not recording anything?

and when on standby theres' like a greeny ring light up behind the buttons on the right of the box. Is this normal

and what do the noise reducers do?

just got my V+ box 2day, its not a sub-box and already it has re-booted 2day. i have a 50db noise blocker onit and i've read that having one of those noise blockers online with the box causes it to re-boot. is this correct and is there anything i can do to correct it. the guy i got it from says he has several V+'s hooked up with no talkback and noise blocker on and he has no problem. surely that would cause legal issues...
