Howdy all!
I'll get the quick question out of the way earlier! What lead do I need to update the firmware on my eurovox max v? The lead I got with the box is useless as I have a laptop, so think I need male and female connections. Finally have some money in my paypal account so I can buy the required lead instead of manually entering codes ![]() Secondly.....can you connect a DVD recorder to a eurovox and record off it? My DVD player has broke so will be needing to buy a new 1 shortly(sales!) and was thinking might aswell spend the little extra for a dvd recorder, but don't want to waste my money if they don't record off the eurovox. Many thanks in advance for any advice ![]() |

You need a usb - serial convertor as sold by maplin but probably cheaper on ebay then you can use the lead you got with the box.
![]() Yes you can record from the eurovox, i use the sat function on my recorder so when it sees signal from eurovox switching on via scart it starts recording so no need to set imer just use epg and yellow button. Last edited by flowerybap; 19-11-08 at 08:50 PM. |
