Default Starting up Starview 4

I have just purchased a starview 4 but cannot make the first step to get it going..
I was sent a link to instructions by the company I bought it off which tells me to do the following before getting started

  1. To change the software do the following
  2. CLICK HERE to download the software, select save.
  3. Rename the file to TheboxSuperUSB_V1.02_beta.BIN
  4. To load the files just drag them on to a memory stick from your pc and then put the memory stick in the USB port
at the back of the receiver.
  5. Then press the menu button on the remote there you will see USB at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Just highlight USB with the remote then you will see the (Box Super USB Bin file) appear on the screen.
  7. Highlight the Box Super USB Bin File with the remote and press the ok button then you will see the file start loading in to the Box.
I downloaded the file on the link above (it seemed to be a word doc) I then renamed the file from .doc to .bin.
It looked to have changed format from a word doc to another type of file. I then put it on a memory stick and put this in the back of the Starview box. I opened up the USB category and found my file on the list which popped up.
I highlighted it and pressed 'ok'. It says 'data restore' I clicked on 'yes'. The screen then flashed and a message comes up 'warning - this is not a file of this IRD'.
I then tried something else by clicking the yellow button on the remote control for format and the entire memory stick appears to have been wiped.
I tried repeating all the steps again (ie downloading the file renaming it etc) and I just continue to get the 'IRD' message.

Sorry for all the detail in the post! just feel I've tried everything at this stage, has anyone any ideas??

Thanks for that.
I downloaded the chatterbox toolbar and the file seems to have loaded up onto my box now.
I then typed in 1570 at the menu screen and am taken to a screen with three options.
I was told to change key emu to on. My three options are 'Nagravision' 'Set default key' and 'key code'.
I changed 'key code' to on and exited back out and tried to scan automatically for channels.
It appears to scan through channels for around 20 seconds and then says 'Info: no new channels'. It then jumps to the manual scan screen.
Where do I go from here?
