Default itv hd

I get bbc hd on my foxsat, but never get the option of pressing the red button to receive itv hd, even when i know the option should be there, as reported by the commentator during a footie match. Any help gratfully received.

Is it a region thing perhaps? maybe something to do with your location.
Try entering a English postcode in your setup and see if that makes a difference.
I dont know if this is the case just an idea.

Wasp you will not get it with a NI postcode, you need to put an Engliah one, Scottish are no good either. It is because UTV, STV and Channel ITV are not part of the ITB regions which have it. You missed nothing in that game tonight Germany were rubbish. There is a post from a few days ago where Robbo put up a load of postcodes that can be used.

Very best regards Wez

Thanks guys, if i do a manual scan, i get loads of itv channels from all over uk. Maybe if i used one of those it may work, or as you say change post code.

Wasp it will not make any difference which ITV region you use, it is the postcode that determines what you get and how your channels are laid out. If you put a London postcode in the box, you will get the London flavours of BBC and ITV and I should think Ch4 also.

I will send you the postcode that I use, so check your messages soon.

Very best regards Wez
