starview 3 help

hi all, newbie to all this cable lark and a bit stuck!! got the box super or starview 3 as some call it and now no channels! it came with a lead to put in the pc but no softaware! can anyone tell me what i need to do to get it all working again or where i can get the software from please??

First you will need to download the TCB.cc toolbar onto your PC, you will get it here at,

http://***.thechatterbox.cc/ (*** = www)

next you will need the 7.09e and 8.00e files from the Files & Fixes, Starview section.

Download them onto your desktop for easy access.

Next you have to connect your box to your pc with the cable you were given with your box (Null Modem Cable), power up your box,click on the first file 7.09e from your desktop and press download.

This will take about a minute, when download complete box appears, wait another 20 seconds to make sure its complete.

Next is to connect the box to your tv with a scart lead,power up.

you will see Language settings, go onto English and press Ok on your remote control.

this now takes you onto who ever is you cable provider, ie,TW,NTL, and so on, press on your provider, scroll down to auto scan and press OK

The box will now scan for channells and this may take any thing up to 30 minutes.

when scan box complete appears,press ok then exit exit on your remote control

Press MENU, and then press 1570, this takes you to the hidden Cass system.

scroll down to EMU ad turn from OFF to ON, then exit exit exit

go onto Sly sports 1 channel and wait for the box to update.this should take roughly 10 to 15 minutes,some time quicker..

Should your box not update at this point, then start the whole thing again using file 8.00e

i would like to watch hatton fight on sat and until 2day was getting the channel. I had to update keys 2day and all channels returned apart from this one, it was still saying 'data is being updated' and currently still is. Anyone came across this b4? my box is a starview.

@ browny here m8 you need to download it will then appear under where you have google at the top of your screen now
click on the files and fixes then select starview fixes select gtrom v8.00e and download

right m8, did that but have no idea wot 2 do nxt!! Do i need to connect my box 2 my pc or something? can u tell i'm a complete novice at this??

al give that a bash m8 cheers, but how cum its only this 1 channel that hasn't came back wen new keys were put in?
