Hi Ian,
Just want to say thanks for sending that Technomate 6900 Super Combo. It arrived today, which is some sort of record, as I only ordered it on Monday night and it was here, in Ireland, today just after 2PM.

Thanks for all the trouble you took and for you friendly and very kind advice. I would just like everybody to know that, in my eyes, you are one first class bloke and a real gentleman.

It's a 1960 Fordson Dexta by the way.

Thanks mate, the dexter was a very good tractor in it's day, I thought it was not big enough looking to be the major, what a great old workhorse.

I have got the box up and running now and it is very easy to patch. I recorded to a 16Gb USB Stick and it records and plays back in HD 1080i, great job. I am going to connect my 500 Gb USB HDD to it next and I will be flying, just a pity that there is only now and next in the Astra2/Eurobird channels, but might just get it to work when someone brings out a patch for it. I am very happy with the box and have cleared all the channels and am slowly blind scanning them, one at a time, though I do know that you can blind scan all the active sats in the box, in one go.
