Sky Card - no C4 or C5

I get BBC West Mids and ITV1 Central W when the card is in the correct way around.

I also have a Thomson receiver in the snug and and have the same issue on this one (only plumbed it in yesterday but the card is now activated)......

Is this because neither card is registered to the box?

Strange one that. you could try doing a full rest, press services button on remote then number 4 then 0 1 and select then press 6 then select then select and wait till it is done.

Madrat - thanks for your help - unfortunately it hasn't worked....

Try a forced update. Hold in the back up button and switch off the power at the mains, keeping the back up button pressed in reconnect the power and wait (can take a while) until all light on box are illuminated and message shows on screen. then wait. If it still doesn't work I would say the box is dead. get a used one of ebay.
