Default Analog or Digital?

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine saw my Starview box in action and thought it was cool.

As a treat I sent him a starview, 2 days later he said it did not work and always reported no signal.

Several phone calls later it turns out he doesnt have a cable signal going in to his house (He is 75 so excuse him)

I said get in touch with V/Media and they are going to set him up with a basic package etc.

He asked me if it was Analog or digital service he required, ive said analog , but just want to check that i have provided him with the right advice.

He says V/Media have quoted a £35 installation fee and £4 per month subscription fee.

Is he on the right track?

Cheers all

Hi

He`d need it to be digital. I would have thought they`d only install digital.

Regards

Well if he's in a digital area (like you obviously are), then he will get digital through the same cable. So, as long as he is, he will get digital through the cable that his analogue box would get its signal through.
