Default question

i have a eurovox max
v 2008 could i make it multi room with one of these av extender i have cable running upstairsIt operates between the RF2 output on a satellite receiver (from which it receives the 9Vdc it needs to power it) and an additional TV. The unit sends the remote control signals from the 'Magic Eye' back to the satellite receiver via the same coaxial cable that is sending the pictures to the additional TV this what it says will it work

AFAIK:
These are sky only.

Also:: the eurovox is a cable receiver...
and:: there is no RF2 socket... thats just on sky.

so no - i am near certain that this wont work.

I have found your solution mate:

One of these on the second tv:
Smart Eye > Maplin

One of these on the Eurovox:
Smart-Blaster > Maplin

It may not be the cheapest £39.98 ish, but its waaaayy more reliable than a wireless video sender of that price (especially as they dont work well when theres WiFi nearby, and neighbours with the same kit could see what you are viewing and potentially know what you are doing ;-) ).
Also, you could have it work with your VCR/DVD on the initial TV aswell with no extra configuration.

When you put this into place, all you'd need would be a second eurovox remote (maybe see lincsat) and then youre all set (or you could just take it with you to the second tv).

Thanks
Hope Ive helped.
Ryan
