Where subtitles are supported do PVR satellite receivers record subtitles??

Hi that is a very good question, I should imagine that if you had the subtitles on screen whilst you are recording the channel then they would record, but if not then I don't think that they would. I am not sure and would love someone to say for sure, which I am sure will happen eventually.

Yes,they do.
DVB and analogue subtitles are recorded by twin tuner pvrs(certainly the Topfield models do).
Its just a matter of selecting which one(where both DVB subtitles and analogue are available for a particular programme),and turning them on,when watching a recorded programme.
The subtitles don't have to be turned on,and appear onscreen,for them to be recorded.
They will be recorded automatically(obviously dependent on make/model of receiver),as long as a particular programme has subtitles provided by the broadcaster.
