hi,
i am new to this and in pursuit of purchasing a star view box .
i have few questions to be answered , before i go aheah in buying one .

1. where can i buy an original box ? as i heard of clones in this forum .

2. i have sky connection at home , can i fix the star view box to the sky dish ?

3. if not do i have to purchase an ariel ? which one do you recommend?

4. are there any long term problems with the box ? what can they be ?

Star View 4 is a cable box.

You cant connect it to a satellite dish , a tv aerial or anything apart from a cable tv connection.

Have a read of the forums a little more.

If you can get Virgin Media in your area, then a StarView may be what you want. If you are interested in receiving satellite channels which aren't SKY, then read further. If you want SKY for free... Then you are in the wrong place. SKY is only available with a valid subscription.
