hi guys i have a 2000 and the remote has gone. im assuming its the crystal and have identified 4 crystals on the board does anyone know which one or ones i need to replace?

Hi

Are you saying the remote is faulty or the crystal in the 2000 box.
You can test the remote by looking at with the camera function of a mobile phone and when prsiing buttons on remote should see it flashing or you can try it on another box to make sure remote is working.

If box itself its the x6501 middleish of board that needs changing I`l upload pic if you want and where to get crystal/resonator from, in the meantime you can heat the crystal up seems to work for some people.

cheers mate sorry for been so vague it is deffo the crystal i have tried all other options its just i didnt know which one i will try reflowing then replacing cheers i will post my results.
