Amstrad DRX400 digibox and FTA channels

I have a Amstrad DRX400 digibox and non subscription wondering why I get asked to insert my card for ITV1 . I expected that for CH4 and FIVE but I thought ITV was F.T.A I also have a FTA receiver and I can get ITV1 in the clear fine.
Could it be something to do with regional ITV ?
I have already updated the box with "backup button" trick.
Is there something else I can try?

6 of the ITV sub regions are scrambled at ftv level. This is because they had to move off Astra 2D a few months back..

You must be in one of the 6 affrected sub regions.

C4 is fta in all areas apart from Ireland - and has been for a few weeks now.

I live in Northants and my CH4 is FTV on my digibox as is S*y3 ...very odd

If thats Anglia west yup its ftv.

You also wont have access to Sky3 Five Fiver/+1 Five US/+1 and Sultana Sports News.

Hinrt - have a wander round the local car boot fairs and buy a cheap digibox with a card in it - unless its been completely cancelled for non payment it will work fine as an ftv card - you should be able to pick one up for 2 or 3 quid easy.
