Yes m8 and am getting target cable disconnected. is the Jtag ****ed then?

Have you got box in debug mode, nit on display ?

yeah, this is how am doing it:

hold the jtag points firmly, put the power on let it go to NIT, open bke, tools, jtag and open mac mot, run mac mot leave for a minute then choose jtag, pace4010, connect.

ooh and also forgot to mention that i tried my sis's pc aswell as my mate's, and still got the same error "cable target disconnected"

Is it a new pogo end on your original jtag, if so check wires as some j tags have earth 0v as white and tdo as black, my one is same.

I have the old pogo lead aswell as new1 which came today from licsat it has four on one end and 2 on the other,
this is how am connecting it:
the top 2 goes no2 and 6 on the pce box jtag points
the bottom4 goes to no3,5,7 and 9

top= white and yellow
bottom= red,green,blue and black

Thats right that end, on j tag end has it got the points marked vcc, gnd,tdi,tms, tck,tdo, check the earth and tdo wires are going to the right point on the pogo end, the earth should be going to no 6.

no the jtag end has no points marked, but the jtag is from lincsat and i used to jtag sammy and pace successfully in may 08. Also i have 2 pogo leads 1 which came with it in aprill or may and another which came today.

I guess its time to buy a new JTAG!!!!

Only other thing i can think of have you got enable legacy p+p ticked in lpt1 port in device manager.

yeah done that too. Well i will come back with new JTAG and will let u know how i get on, but is there a way of knowing if this one (jtag) is *ucked
